Edouard Malingue gallery is thrilled to announce the featuring of Laurent Grasso’s work, 1610 IV (2014) in group show ‘The Marcel Duchamp Prize – Landscapes of the World’ at Espace Musée, Paris.
Curated by Serge Lemoine, the exhibition will present 9 works by the winners of the Marcel Duchamp Prize. ‘Les Paysages du monde’ is an exhibition that includes works which project original reflections on the landscape with multifarious techniques adapted by each artist. Here Laurent Grasso illustrates using one of his many complex conceptual practices, the neon, black transparent creation, part of his Neon 1610 series, which reinterprets a drawing by Galileo of a constellation published in 1610 from his book “Sidereus Nuncius”.
