Laurent Grasso’s work will be presented in the latest group exhibition, ‘Segnali di Fumo’, curated by Lorenzo Benedetti and Adrienne Drake at Museo d’Arte Contemporanea (MARCO) Testaccio, Rome, Italy. ‘Segnali di Fumo’, translated to ‘smoke signals’ in English, will exhibit the works of nine contemporary artists, featuring representations from large scale to site specific installations with a view to emphasise the theme of smoking as an alternative state of consciousness.
On display will be Laurent Grasso’s ‘Untitled’ (2003-2005) betadigital and colour animation projection. Grasso is a chief conceptual artist who through his works, individually and collectively, transports you intellectually as well as physically into a realm of questioning and discovery, impossibility and actuality, knowledge and belief.
