Pleased to share Sun Xun’s ongoing exhibition ‘Sun Xun: Time Spy’ at Saint Louis Art Museum. Curated by Elizabeth Wyckoff, Gretchen Wagner, Hannah Klemm, and Phillip Hu, this exhibition exclusively presents Sun Xun’s first 3D film, ‘Time Spy’ (2016), that was produced by carving more than 10,000 woodcuts that were inked and digitally scanned to create animation cells. A vast selection of woodblocks used in the creation of this film will also be on view.
